Company
Building the category leader in specialty crop software, from Wisconsin.
Blossom is built by people who have run the operations it serves. Grower roots, software discipline, and a long view of what American specialty agriculture deserves.
Our story
It started on a marsh
Blossom started at Elm Lake Cranberry, a working family marsh in Wisconsin. Seasons there taught us how a real operation runs: the water, the chemistry, the crew, and the hundred small decisions that decide a harvest.
When it came time to modernize the operation, we went looking for software and found nothing that fit. The big platforms were built for row crops. Specialty growers got spreadsheets, binders, and generic tools that never matched how the work actually happens.
The software growers deserved did not exist. So we built it.
What began as an internal tool for one marsh became a product, and the product became a company. We first operated as Elm Lake Labs. The company is becoming Blossom, one name for the product and the team behind it.
Cranberry was the proving ground, not the destination. Blossom is expanding crop by crop, with blueberry, almond, grape, and apple next, until every specialty grower in the country has software built for the way they actually grow.
